The Beginning: From Property & Casualty to Medicare Solutions

Nearly 20 years ago, Scott Amos and Travis LePage began their insurance careers as Farmers Insurance agents, focusing on property and casualty coverage. As they built relationships with their clients, they recognized an emerging need—Medicare consulting. Many of their home and auto clients were aging into Medicare and needed trusted guidance to navigate their healthcare options.

Seeing an opportunity to serve a rapidly growing market, Scott and Travis sold their Farmers agencies in 2020 and launched Invictus Marketing Solutions, dedicated to:

What started as a regional agency in the Midwest quickly expanded to over 1,000 agents across 47 states in just a few years. Today, Invictus Marketing Solutions continues to grow, hiring hundreds of new consultants per year, helping individuals secure their financial and healthcare futures.

Expanding into Employee Benefits: The Birth of Invictus Group Benefits

As Invictus Marketing Solutions grew, so did the conversations within the industry—business owners needed better healthcare and benefits solutions for their employees.

That’s when Scott reconnected with Reece West, a longtime friend and experienced benefits consultant. The two originally met at a CrossFit gym, where their shared values of discipline, integrity, and community laid the foundation for a strong friendship.

Reece had spent 10 years in the benefits consulting space, working for some of the top 10 brokerage firms in the U.S. He saw firsthand how large firms prioritized profits over clients, pushing cookie-cutter solutions that didn’t work for most businesses.

Scott and Reece knew they could do things differently. They had a vision for a benefits firm that combined:
